This girl I speak of has no title.
Her name is irrelevant but her being is significant. It wouldn’t do much to describe her looks. In short: she’s beautiful. Cliché indeed, but clichés are needed where they are due. I guess you can say she’s not your average nappy hair islander type of girl.
She’s the type that will come out standing after a heated argument. She’s the type that’s got you figured out at first breath. She’s the type that you can’t deceive even if you tried. She can be sweet too, though. She’s the type that stays on the phone with you until you knock out and, in no creepy way whatsoever, remember the rhythmic patterns of your breathing and the way you snore so shamelessly. She vibes with your troubles; manages to speak when you fail to gather the right words. She’s the type that’s down to hang out with you whenever, wherever. If you have the car, she’ll pay for the gas. If you’re on cloud 9, she’ll be on cloud 10. If you have the desire to be here, she will go there with you.
No girl, though, could ever be so perfect without her flaws. In fact, her flaws are some of the main reasons why you find her so gorgeous. She’s the laziest and crankiest person in the morning. She’s the type that will oftentimes want things her way and any other way is out of the question. She’s got this weird giggle that sounds outstandingly ugly but it’s dangerously contagious. Sometimes she forgets her table manners but the question of that being cute or rude is often indistinguishable. It all sounds horrendous, I know. But when she makes these flaws apparent, that’s when you know: it’s definitely her, and not some other girl.
This is the part where I personally come in and tell you that I have no desire to be with this girl. In fact, she’s probably already taken. But what is it about her that makes you fall so easily in love? Simple, really. She’s that girl. That girl you know so well, with beauty incomparable. Even if she’s everything you’ve ever wanted, she’s not the one you develop feelings for. She’s that girl. The one you know enough that, at the very thought of her, you just get the strongest feeling that she could be a ladyfriend like no other. Any man would be lucky to have her—just not you.
Every man knows this girl. Every man has seen his own. It’s this girl that plunges every man into wonder. It’s this girl that embodies that which a man desires, but cannot personally love. It’s this girl who may or may not ever like a guy like him, to which this fantasy has no real value to him. It is who she is, and the way we have seen her treat past and current loves.. with necessities of a relationship such as respect, fidelity, and care. That is what appeals to the man. That girl, who will always be the perfect model and nothing more.
It’s true that I’m no longer the intimate type, but I still like to dream.
